AI is the epitome of the collaboration of humans and machines. Humans write the design and logic of AI to utilize every opportunity where the machine is superior.  From childhood, I always loved a good challenge. Since my first encounter with algorithms and AI, I had no doubt what my career will be. This field is the most metally challenging and is currently pushing the boundaries of human capabilities in the most profound way. AI, I believe, will be humanity’s final challenge.

AI is a pure form of defining and formulating how to solve problems in the most far-reaching way, using self-reflection and very high  abstract capabilities. Within AI, deep learning is the state of the art in most areas, and at first glance, it seems to be an easy off-the-shelf solution that one can use without completely understanding it. However, deep learning has many open questions and challenging research opportunities that many shy from tackling.

Our deep learning approach benefits us in 3 ways. Firstly, our approach to deep learning facilitates the generation of tailor-made algorithms. Secondly, it produces a deeper understanding and better insights into our models’ inner workings and methodology. Lastly, our deep learning approach gives us the freedom to go beyond the current published open-source commonly used networks and to create unique creative solutions.

By utilizing past behavior, our models can learn general meaningful concepts that won’t lose relevance over time.

The technology we developed is unique in a number of ways. For example, in order to reach significant time-relevant knowledge on the financial market we developed architecture that learns from comparable referencing. This architecture uses concepts of competing possibilities at the same time to determine the correct preference between these possibilities. Furthermore, to develop our technology we needed to utilize multiple varying data sources with different data structures. We managed to successfully combine meaningful insights from all of our data by projecting them into a singular space and weighing them relative to the amount of knowledge they contribute. Since every investor has different preferences and risk appetite, we built a general model that understands the market state in a deep and meaningful way and facilitates the flexibility needed to accommodate each investor’s goals.
